CLOTH.....THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

Okay...I think now it's time for me to write something that I liked the most....(well, among other things)

I used lampin during confinement for the first 3 of my daughters then converted to disposable diapers (naturally) after that until they started to potty train.

For Zulfa, I started with dispo during confinement ( I guess, I'm too lazy to wake up in the middle of the night to change the lampin) but then converted (with full awareness) to cloth diapers until now.

With Wafa, started off with cloth diapers, very seldom used lampin and continue with cloth until now.

So, I have 2 children on cloth diapers (CD) full time...

Jeng..Jeng ....*drum roll* It show time!!.....(my very very humble stash - *blush*)

This is the small collection of CDs I got during my preparation to receive Wafa.I got prefold, pocket CDs - mostly inherited from Zulfa and bought second hand, then few fitted diapers with diaper covers. All ready in my newly-purchased diaper changing table.

bigger photo of the changing table and all the neccessary items for a newborn.

collection of diaper covers - upper imve vimse (second hand), motherease (new),thirsties (2nd) bottom - pureen, cute tushies (2nd), bummis (new), thirsties (2nd)

Fitted diapers - MPB, snuggle hugs, kissaluv, unknown brand (2nd)

Small collection of pocket CDs and AIOs Drybess, GAD, pocket change, starbunz, jamtots

Fairuz wanted to be a part of my collection.(She missed the chance to be on fully CD...only occasional night time CD when she was still not potty trained.

And I am still collecting for Wafa and Zulfa - the temptation is sooo irresistable.

My next challange is to potty trained ZUlfa and she can pass her CDs to Wafa and I can start to sell some of her small-not-fit-anymore stuff.

This is really fun...

Cannot imagine how I survived the "not so fun" of disposable diapers years ago :D

MY PASSION, MY OBSESSION, ( and hopefully not) MY MADNESS

As much as I want to become very professional with high awareness level for more serious issues, I cannot hide the other side of me.

The side of a woman, mother and parent.

After Zulfa came into our life more than a year ago, my life-style has changed quite significantly, and with a little help of technology mostly internet, there are actually a whole lot of other perspectives to see how life is all about.

And one thing for sure, the good outcome is I used more and more cloth instead of disposable thingy including MODERN CLOTH DIAPERS for Zulfa.

I will let the photos do most of the talking.....

MY HUMBLE STASH OF CDs ( you will be surprised to see other mommies' collection)
My other half of the stash are in the laundry

MY LITTLE ANGELS WITH CDs

ZULFA IN ACTION (she just loves to be in CD)

THIS IS HOW YOU 'ASSEMBLE' A POCKET DIAPER

The left side is the pocket diaper and the right one is
the insert.

put the insert into a pocket at the back
of the pocket diaper. You can adjust the absorbency
by using different type of insert.

you can lay a fleece liner - optional for easily
catch the poos and for easy cleaning.

Now it is ready.

AND FOR THE ALL IN ONE (ITTI BITTI D'LISH IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE)

The outer shell (waterproof)

The outer shell and the snap in soaker.
the snap is colour coded for easy assembling

Just snap in the soaker and it's ready to use.
The right side is a fitted diaper (non-waterproof) with a
lay in fleece liner. It must be use with a diaper
cover to make it waterproof.
the left side is the Bummis cover with print.

I JUST LOVE, LOVE AND LOVE USING ALL MY CDs........environmental fr
iendly, easy to use and wash and daddy friendly too.

THIS IS HOW I KEEP THE SOILED DIAPER

In the wetbag with zipper to hold the smell
(it comes in various prints or plain colours)

or in the pail liner (should be in the large
pail which I don't have so it hang
at the door handle)

My laundry for CDs take place every 2-3 days and it all done by the washine machine.

It is so easy....

I cannot give more excuses NOT to use the CDs....

Beside being so easy to use, it also give you another kind of satisfaction of being a mom.
Giving the best to your child, can help to save the environment and CDs come in many cute prints and pattern.

But, I need to warn you, you can be addicted to it and wanting to buy more, more and more....

Aren't they simply too gorgeous to resist...?

I just have to resist myself from buying more and more.....just for the sake of having different pattern and style..

And with my surge of motherhood hormones right now, I am still collecting CDs for my latest addition any time soon.
And that will deserve another entry.

CLOTH IS GREAT......

Allahu'alam

LAMPIN KAIN (CLOTH DIAPER).....BIAR BETUL!!

" kalau baby berak camne

sampailah satu hari saya rasa bersalah kerana terlalu banyak 'membuang' .Maklumlah baby baru lahir memang kerap buang air besar....
