Hmm.....why all the taxis refused to take me to IKIM at Jalan Langgak Tunku.

Every taxi gave various reasons not to send me there..

"Baru balik dari sana lah kak, sekarang nak pergi Kg Baru"

" Malas nak patah balik"

Somehow I could understand the frustration of the tourists if this kind of situation occured.

So, what was there at IKIM, by the way....

I came all the way from Seremban, parked my car at Bandar Tasik Selatan's LRT station, took STAR LRT until PWTC station and walked until Putra Commuter station as very few taxi passed by in front of that station, just to attend a course...

That course must be pretty interesting though for me to come all the way to attend it..

She just knew what to say and how to say it well...

She did give the relevant details with many hands-on writing exercise on how to start writing and overcome the fear of writing.

So I thought of sharing some of her rules regarding flow writing with all of you and believe me, it will work if you do it consistently ( I only tried them today and now actually :D)

FLOW WRITING

KEEP YOUR HAND MOVING.

GO WITH THE FIRST IMAGE THAT COMES INTO YOUR HEAD.

DON'T THINK

LOSE CONTROL

FEEL FREE TO DIVERT FROM THE TOPIC

BE SPECIFIC

DON'T WORRY ABOUT PUNCTUATION, GRAMMAR AND SPELLING.

DON'T CROSS OUT IF YOU TAKE A WRONG TURN

DON'T JUDGE YOUR WRITING - YOU ARE FREE TO WRITE THE WORST JUNK IN MALAYSIA!

DON'T READ WHAT YOU'VE WRITTEN UNTIL YOU'VE FINISHED...AND MAYBE NOT EVEN THEN..

She did ask us to write something about a word and was given only 2 minutes....know what.... many of the participants did write something...

Just write whatever that is inside you and you will realize you don't want to stop.

At certain point of time....the feeling was amazing after you finished writing, whatever 'junk' you thought your writing was.

So, whoever who really want to try to write, I think these rules are very useful...

So guys....take your pens and start writing......

OH!...Before I forget.....what actually the meaning of the title anyway?

I'm not sure what language is that...probably Latin , Greek or is it French?

But I still remember what she said about that sentence..they mean

NOT A DAY WITHOUT A LINE (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT)...

And please mind my grammar or punctuation or spelling....

I'm just practising what she taught me :D
